Project Description

Trying something new, asking critical questions, developing professional perspectives

The goal of the project is to strengthen the personal development of children and adolescents in the transition between school and work, providing them with guidance and perspectives for their professional future. This includes enhancing their media literacy. Key qualifications in reliability, teamwork, punctuality, and appropriate social behavior are also developed.

Participants will explore various skills, get to know themselves and others, and network in workshops on the following topics:

  • Repair
  • Creative
  • Energy
  • How to be an influencer
  • Public Relations and Marketing
  • Organization

Participants will gain insight into manual professions through self-performed repairs on their smartphones or the production of accessories.

The question “How to be an influencer?” focuses on media literacy, knowledge of (data) security on the internet, and personal behavior in social networks. Participants will engage in discussions with professionally active influencers and can learn from them. In doing so, participants will also gain insights into the “seriousness of life” in the influencer profession.

Throughout the project’s duration, participants will independently take on tasks in project management and external communication, from acquiring additional participants to presenting the project on social networks.

The various project focuses will be applied in interdisciplinary project sessions.

After an initial information day on November 26, 2022, the design and implementation of individual workshops, including the tasks to be taken on by participants, will be agreed upon in regular meetings and then implemented. Participants in all workshops will be supported by professional speakers. The later entry of additional participants is also welcome after the information day.
