Children Build Their Future: SolarCup Germany in Dortmund
After the successful SolarCup Berlin 2022, our winners were ready to compete in the German championship in Dortmund.
Our two groups from the Karl Weise School were excited to showcase their skills nationwide. The Sophie-Scholl-Schule was supposed to accompany us,
but unfortunately was prevented. However, before the thrill could begin, there were still a few Crusher“
enrolled in the creative class. To ensure they could get the best out of their models, the students modeled and improved their electric cars under our guidance. For the creative class, it was relevant that each model could run solely on solar energy without a capacitor.
On September 23, our young innovators, along with their posters and models, traveled to Dortmund with their parents and us, the New Hope and Light team. The German championship was scheduled to begin the next day at DASA Dortmund. The DASA is Germany’s largest exhibition on the world of work.
